Body Like Mine: On Being Queer, Poly and Fat is an intimate, revealing essay about confronting body issues in an open relationship. With lyrical but frank prose, Rourke explores the pain of having to confront body issues he'd successfully repressed and the love and comfort he found in a partner with a body like his.
With eight pages of illustration and collages built on photographs of Rourke's body by his partners, Body Like Mine is a singular personal essay accompanied by the collaborative support and perspective of his triad relationship.
